Pilot status: these steps follow the OpenWrt wiki and our software tests. They have not yet been completed end-to-end on a real Ruijie by us — follow carefully and report anything different.
Ready-made JANDY firmware (OpenWrt 24.10.8 + LuCI + openNDS + JANDY 0.2.7). Flash one of these instead of plain OpenWrt and the JANDY package is already installed — skip steps 7–8 and go straight to “JANDY WiFi” and the setup code.Handang JANDY firmware (OpenWrt 24.10.8 + LuCI + openNDS + JANDY 0.2.7). Built with the official OpenWrt Image Builder. Part 1 — Flash OpenWrt on the Ruijie RG-EW1200G ProBahagi 1 — I-flash ang OpenWrt sa Ruijie RG-EW1200G Pro

⚠️ Flashing replaces the Ruijie firmware and can void the warranty. A mistake can leave the router unusable until recovered.

Turn the router over. The sticker must say RG-EW1200G PRO and hardware version V1.1. Any other version: stop.

Download the OpenWrt image and check itI-download ang OpenWrt image at i-check

Open firmware-selector.openwrt.org, type RG-EW1200G PRO v1.1, choose the newest 24.10.x and download SYSUPGRADE (…-squashfs-sysupgrade.bin). This model has no FACTORY image — the "factory.bin" in the OpenWrt instructions is this file. Do not use KERNEL (it only runs from memory). Also note the sha256 shown under SYSUPGRADE.

certutil -hashfile factory.bin SHA256

The result must match exactly. If not, download again.Dapat eksaktong tugma. Kung hindi, i-download ulit.

(Rename the downloaded file to factory.bin to match the commands below.)(Palitan ang pangalan ng file ng factory.bin para tugma sa mga command sa ibaba.)

The stock Ruijie firmware has no upload button for OpenWrt. Follow the Installation section of the official OpenWrt page for this exact model:Walang upload button para sa OpenWrt ang stock firmware ng Ruijie.

openwrt.org/toh/ruijie/rg-ew1200g_pro_v1.1

We don’t repeat that part here: it depends on the stock firmware version, and the wiki is kept up to date by the OpenWrt community. If you get stuck, message us.Hindi na namin inuulit dito ang bahaging iyon: nakadepende ito sa bersyon ng stock firmware, at ang wiki ang inaalagaan ng OpenWrt community.
